Who we are

This website is operated by M.A. Marine Veritas Consulting (MAMVC), founded by Mykola Aleksyeyev. We are a maritime consultancy based in Porto, Portugal. Contact: contact@mamvc.com

What data we collect

Contact form. When you submit an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, professional background, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

Google Analytics. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. This collects anonymised data including pages visited, time on site, and general location (country level). No personally identifiable information is collected via analytics. Analytics cookies are only set after you click Accept on our cookie banner.

To understand how our website is used and improve it (analytics, with consent only)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Legal basis (GDPR)

We process contact form data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to a direct enquiry you initiated). We process analytics data on the basis of consent, which you give by clicking Accept on our cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.

Cookies

We use two types of cookies:

Functional cookie (mv_consent): Stores your cookie consent preference. Required for the site to remember your choice. Duration: 365 days.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics): Set only if you accept. Used to measure website traffic. See Google’s Privacy Policy for details.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained in email for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the enquiry. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics default settings (26 months).

Request correction or deletion of your data
Withdraw consent for analytics at any time (clear your cookies or contact us)
Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority
